100 days anniversary

Tristan's actual 100th day was on Jan 4th, 2010; we celebrated on the 6th. I am writing about this day today on Jan 12th. What a slacker Mama.

We ( Nanna Jerri, Papaw Jimmy, Granny Yinglan, Josh and I ) went to Corky's on Wednesday night. He drooled all over. Either he started teething already or he loved BBQ food smell. After we came home, we put on all the baby jewelries my Mom brought over representing gifts from my parents and sisters and brother. They are gold pendent in a old lock shape with his birth animal OX on it; silver necklaces and bangles. No baby rings. :-). Then Mom put on his red little shirt. He was like a star showing off his new outfit. We took lots of pictures. I knew it's such a small scale celebration comparing the ones in China. I was just glad Tristan was getting all the blessings(superstitious me). I don't think he could pick out his career yet. It's a tradition we put stuff representing different careers to predict his future. e.g. a law dictionary(lawyer), a stethoscope(doctor), or a broom(janitor). I don't think I will ever put a broom for him to choose. :-)

We wish Tristan a healthy, blessed and prosperous life.
